- Manual Pipe and Tube Notcher: The RA-1 is a hand-operated pipe notcher for cutting R-arc tube ends before 90 degree tube joining and welding, helping users prepare fit-up surfaces for small-diameter tube work.
- Three Inside Diameter Sizes: Based on the KAKA manual, the RA-1 is designed for 1/4 in, 3/8 in, and 1/2 in inside-diameter pipe or tube notching, making it the smallest ID-capacity model in the RA series.
- For 90 Degree Tube Joints: The RA-1 is intended for jointing and welding tubes at a 90 degree angle. Only one pipe size should be cut at one time, and the cutting block should move freely before operation.
- Up to 3 mm Wall Steel: The source manual lists use with steel tubes up to 3 mm wall thickness. Actual performance depends on material, wall thickness, blade condition, setup, and operator technique.
- Compact Manual Shop Tool: The RA-1 can be fixed horizontally or vertically on a work table when installed correctly. The KAKA manual lists 13/15 lb N.W./G.W., making it a compact tool for fabrication benches and welding prep areas.
